Prenatal Exercise
The staff at Bella Bellies is dedicated to prenatal fitness and well-being.
Based on a thorough 1 hour assessment your fitness program is designed with respect to your unique pregnancy. During the fitness assessment the instructor will review an outline including diet, cardiovascular activity, relaxation techniques and resistance training. The instructor will describe what activity is best suited for your personal goals relative to your current level of fitness.
Following the prenatal fitness assessment, all sessions will include prenatal exercises specifically designed for the client. The exercises are selected from organizations such as: Lamaze, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Power Pilates, Gyrotonic®, Iyengar Yoga, Society for Exercise Physiology and more. Our exercises our intended to strengthen your body for pregnancy and beyond.
We supply our clients with handouts from the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecology, International Child Birth Education Association, La Leche League and more! If interested Bella Bellies will put you in touch with other pregnant mothers and support groups, upcoming Hoboken family events and references to other professional services (Doctor's, Midwives, Labor and Delivery Doulas, Postnatal Doulas, Lactation Consultants, Child Birth Education Classes, reading materials, Nutritionists).
