Allow the staff at Bella Bellies to help you relax, re-energize, restore and regain confidence with your own body. No matter what stage of life, Bella Bellies has something for you. We offer one-on-one training and group exercise classes.
For prenatal, Bella Bellies recognizes the unique effects pregnancy has on a woman's body. Bella Bellies stresses education on how a woman's body changes during pregnancy, after pregnancy and into motherhood. We further relate these physical changes to your exercise program and nutrition program.
The staff at BELLA BELLIES is dedicated to working with women at any stage of life.
Annie Martens
Bella Bellies Owner and Founder, Pilates Instructor, Gyrotonic Instructor, Yoga Instructor Personal Trainer, Dance Instructor, Doula
In 2005, Bella Bellies was designed by mommy Annie Martens to offer other moms a unique exercise program tailored to their unique needs. From her experiences as a mother, Annie became aware of the need to balance fitness and nutrition before, during, after and well into motherhood. However she noticed many people in the fitness industry were not educated on, compassionate towards, and understanding of the unique challenges and pressures a mother faces. From this experience, Annie was inspired to step away from her career in New York City to create Bella Bellies.
Annie has combined her background in exercise physiology and her BFA in dance from the Boston Conservatory where she graduated cum laude. Annie has taught Pilates for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Outpatient Care and Boston Ballet. Annie is the featured speaker in the DVD "Prenatal Pilates with the Tupler Technique" with Julie Tupler author of "Lose your Mummy Tummy" and "Maternal Fitness." Annie has written articles for Expectant Mother's Guide and has been featured in Jersey Journal and Jersey Life. Annie is the creator of Stroller Moves and Momilates offered at Bella Bellies

Danyelle Demchock
Exercise and Nutrition Coach
Danyelle Demchock has been involved in fitness over the last five years in New York City. Danyelle currently works at the Sports Club/LA at Rockefeller Center as an Advantage Trainer. Danyelle is certified as an Exercise Coach through the Chek Institute in San Diego, CA. CHEK stands for Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology Institute. Danyelle is also certified in Muscular Activation Technique (Jumpstart program) and certified as a personal trainer through NASM. She is also a certified Holistic Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach Certification through the Chek Institute. Among other training, Danyelle also brings her 22 years of dance experience, and working with her body, to help guide her clients' toward their goals. Danyelle knows first hand the amount of dedication it takes to live a healthy lifestyle both physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, after recovering from being quiet ill herself. When Danyelle is working with a client she is not only assessing the amount of a physical stress she is putting on the client but she also looks to see what other stresses the clients are experiencing in his/her life. Stresses being non-organic foods, limbic/emotional stress, hormonal stresses, and sleep deprivation. Stress is cumulative. Therefore, the amount of physical stress that Danyelle puts on her clients' physically is dependent upon the amount of stress that is already on the client's body. Getting healthy and living a healthy lifestyle is about taking responsibility for oneself. In taking responsibility, the client learns how to run his/her life again without his/her life running him/her. In doing so, the client learns to love him/herself on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.
